Siddha medicine is practised in South India particularly Tamilnadu. It is similar to Indian Ayurveda practised all over the country.
The app includes remedies for many common diseases for which one need not run to the doctor and blow away his/her savings. This is a book compiled specially by the Government of India for the people to treat themselves without a visit to the physician.
Some herbs are available in the kitchen and garden. Many standard preparations sold across the counter are also included so that where it is difficult to procure herbs, they can buy the medicines off the shelf.
In our opinion, people in the third world may benefit a lot as these remedies will at least give a hope of treatment where none is available.
Some on-line Indian medical shops sell many of the standard preparations mentioned in the book. There is no scope for any error as only common diseases where no specialised diagnosis or test are required.
